Bulletin Board Service (BBS) — Personal Hobby

1997 - 1999 | Bokaro Steel City

In 1997, launched one of Bokaro’s first and only Bulletin Board Services (BBS), at a time when only a handful of cities in India had dial-up internet through VSNL. Using UUCP and a Canadian uplink provider, enabled local users to send and receive email and participate in Usenet groups. This early project sparked a lifelong passion for networking, internet infrastructure, and open-source technologies.
