The Journey
I’ve been in love with technology since before the internet was a thing in India.
Back in 1997, while working at a steel plant in Bokaro, I started what was probably the city’s first Bulletin Board Service — a dial-up system that let people send emails and participate in Usenet groups. It was a hobby project, powered by late nights and curiosity. That early experiment sparked a passion that has driven my career ever since.
From metallurgy engineer to Linux evangelist, from running my own IT consulting firm for 17 years to now leading cloud transformation at an enterprise level — my path has been unconventional but deeply fulfilling. I’ve had the privilege of working across public sector giants, scrappy startups, and high-growth tech companies, each teaching me something different about building systems that actually work.
What Drives Me
I believe the best technology solutions come from understanding both the bits and the business. Code that doesn’t serve people is just clever syntax. Infrastructure that can’t evolve with changing needs is technical debt waiting to happen.
These days, I spend my time architecting cloud-native platforms, mentoring engineering teams, and helping organizations embrace DevOps not just as a set of tools, but as a culture of continuous improvement. Whether it’s Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, or security architectures — I’m happiest when I’m solving problems that matter.
Beyond the Terminal
When I’m not thinking about infrastructure, you’ll find me exploring new technologies (old habits die hard), reading about the intersection of tech and business, or sharing what I’ve learned with the community. I’m a firm believer that knowledge grows when shared.
I’m based in Bengaluru, India’s tech hub, but my work and connections span globally.
